This Code applies to all persons taking part in the Services, online or in person, including Candidates, community members, mentors, jury members, service providers and Olomoon's own staff.
Respect, intellectual honesty, correct attribution of authorship, openness to technical criticism, protection of other people's information and courteous communication are expected.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, stalking, unauthorised disclosure of personal data, hate speech, sexual abuse and retaliation against anyone making a report are not tolerated.
Truthfulness of statements, disclosure of the use of artificial intelligence tools and of third parties, identification of third-party components and compliance with their licences are required.
Reports may be submitted at info@olomoon.org and will be handled confidentially so far as possible. Retaliation of any kind is not permitted.
Depending on the seriousness, the measures may be a warning, removal of content, restriction of features, temporary suspension of the Account, exclusion from an activity or closure of the Account.
Any restrictive measure is preceded, wherever practicable, by hearing the person concerned, and is always accompanied by a written statement of reasons setting out the facts, the basis applied, whether automated means were used and the redress available.
Measures are proportionate to the seriousness and recurrence of the conduct. Emergency measures may be applied without a prior hearing, which will be provided as soon as possible.
Where an edition of the Challenge comes to exist, the integrity rules set out in its Rules apply, in particular as regards conflicts of interest, collusion and manipulation of assessments.
This Code is reviewed whenever necessary, and material changes are notified and dated.
